It'd be nice if Les got into something heavy again, like some of that old-old "jerry was a race-car-driver" Primus.....or something similar.

Cliff Burton - Metallica definitely the *darn*' best bassist
Duff McKagan - Guns N Roses some of the most original *Poop* ever
Rick Sav Savage - Def Leppard hes just *darn*' good
Geezer Butler - Black Sabbath obviously
Bobby Dall - Poison hes just cool

blackie lawless is a guitarist not a bassist. the bassist for W.A.S.P. is currently Mike Duda.

Definitely Cliff Burton is my fave but the best technical wise is prolly Geexer Butler from Sabbath...just go on YouTube and look up nay live footage of him....the guitar parts for Sabbath may be easy but my God the bass lines are like Yngwie or DragonForce (just he can actually do them live) or something Very Happy .
