| I need to know what kind of pick ups would be good for a really heavy crunchy sound, but that will still have a nice tone. And will sound better for strumming out fast power chords with less palm muting. Probably for an esp guitar. |

| I would say Di Marzio pick ups. If you're looking for the heavier 'crunch it is always best to use humbucker pick ups which you can select on your guitar. |

Dimebuckers....DImebag Darrel's signature humbucker pickups. They're real heavy but are good for lead parts and even open chords.
Also Blackouts, Alexi Laiho's pickups, have the same functions, just a little less crunchy and a little more focused on lead guitar. |
