I need to know what kind of pick ups would be good for a really heavy crunchy sound, but that will still have a nice tone. And will sound better for strumming out fast power chords with less palm muting. Probably for an esp guitar.

I would say Di Marzio pick ups. If you're looking for the heavier 'crunch it is always best to use humbucker pick ups which you can select on your guitar.

Dimebuckers....DImebag Darrel's signature humbucker pickups. They're real heavy but are good for lead parts and even open chords.

Also Blackouts, Alexi Laiho's pickups, have the same functions, just a little less crunchy and a little more focused on lead guitar.
